Day 15 - Our First Day in Cody Wyoming

Day 15 – Mom and Patti are in the trailer cooking breakfast. Toby is lying in the sun and I am under the awning catching up on my Blog. I have already called the Ford dealer and they promised me that they will check out Red and soon as possible. The Park has Wifi but I am tucked away in the back and out of antennae range. The only way to get the last several days posted is to write them on Word and then cut and paste into the Blog while sitting in the bathroom. It is reminiscent of Robin Williams in the movie RV. The men using the toilets and the showers don’t seem to mind. The Park empties out in the morning and right now there is no one on either side of us; it will fill up again this afternoon.

If you have to be stranded, Cody Wyoming is another good place to be. There is a lot to see and do but without transportation, the choices are limited. Renting a “soccer mom” van was our next best decision. With wheels, we spent a good amount of time exploring the town. The visitor’s center gave us a lot of local information and of course, the Buffalo Bill Museum is by far the number one attraction. Armed with the best places to see, we headed straight for the fireworks warehouse. Mom and I had a great time shopping while Patti took pictures of a few amazing large bronze statues depicting frontier scenes.
