Day 18 – The drive from Riverton to Green River Utah was uneventful – and that is just the way I like it. You may remember, several years ago, the story of the Green River Killer. All in all we felt pretty safe. The Green River City Park has many camp sites for $16 per night. There are no hookups but we found a site very close to the river and even closer to the showers – it was good. Of course the train ran through several times and rattled the trailer during the night – but a person gets used to trains if you spend much time on the road. The park was full of campers staying in everything from diesel pushers to tents. The showers and restrooms got a good workout. Tomorrow will be the last full day of driving outside the state of Arizona.
